The Truth – Light

His eyes hardened. He spat a curse and shoved past her, heading for the liquor cabinet.

She smiled, picked up her bag, and walked away, closing the door quietly behind her.

She wasn’t sure where she was going, but it didn’t matter. This chapter was closed. A new one just beginning. Emotions swirled in her gut—heartache, fear, anticipation. Because this time, the pen was in her hand.

    I like the happy ending, and I can only imagine so far what the dark one is going to look like.

    I like this experiment!
